Is there an age limit or requirement of people who can use these services?

No, there’s no age requirement, but our team has a special place in their hearts for seniors and are specifically recruited and screened based on having a compassionate and patient countenance in addition to their technical abilities. They are also very focused on safety, security, and comfort as top priorities.

How does remote access work?

We want to create an environment for you that feels like we’re right beside you, guiding you every step of the way. We’re leveraging proven, reputable, and trusted technology tools to be able to do that. When you become a Techie Nesters customer, we provide access to a tool that allows you to invite us in to see your screen, so we can see what you see as if we were right there looking over your shoulder. This makes troubleshooting easier. Like any safe technology, you can disconnect any time you want, and we cannot reconnect unless you invite us. It’s that secure. We don’t see your screen before or after any sessions, and you provide permissions all along the way as you wish. Even when you allow us to see what you see, we can’t access this on our own. You’re in the driver’s seat.

Will you have access to my personal data?

No. We will only see what you show us, and only during our time together, temporarily. If you need help setting up something like a health app for medication reminders or a FREE fall detection service on Apple watch, as example, we can guide you through the set-up of that with your permission. To protect your privacy, we only see symbols not numbers for things like passwords or credit cards, so we’re never exposed to that on your screen either.

When your kids have flown the nest, don’t worry we’ll help with the rest.
